3/16/11 donation tables at Massart and SMFA

It has been four days since our first meeting.

We set up our donation tables for the first time today, and they were a big success!
We had three tables in total: Massart Tower Building Lobby, Massart Kennedy Chartwells Cafeteria, and School of the Museum of Fine Arts Atrium.

ボストン折り紙プロジェクト、活動開始から四日目にして、最初の募金テーブルを設置することができました。

ボストン美術館付属芸術大学、マサチューセッツ州美術大学の二校、計三つのテーブルからのスタートです。

寄付してくれる人、一緒に折ってくれる人、生徒や教授、様々な人が立ち寄ってくれます。

So many donations, so much awareness, and so many volunteers as well!

I will let you know how much we got for today since it is our first day of this fundraiser!

From two tables at Massart, we got $519.71!!!!!

And from the table at SMFA $172.20!!!!!!!!(We were there for only two hours!)

Isn't it a great start? People are caring about Japan as well as we do!

Massart tables will be there again from Friday 3/18 to 4/1 weekdays from 11-2!

(Be careful, we will not be there tomorrow 3/17 because it is Evacuation day!)

一日目の結果をご報告します。

マサチューセッツ美術大学では、519.71ドル、ボストン美術館付属芸術大学では、172.20ドルが集まりました！

アメリカ人も他の外国人も日本人も、助けたいと願う気持ちは一緒です！それを形にしてくれています。

寄付してくれた皆様、ありがとうございます。できるだけ早く、日本へ届けます。

たくさんの方の協力で、短期間にここまで準備し、実行することができました。

マサチューセッツ芸術大学では、金曜日(3/18)から引き続き、テーブルを置くことが決定しています。

3/18〜4/1の間の平日、11時から2時まで、カフェテリアとTOWER BUILDINGの一階ロビーにテーブルが設置されますので、是非立ち寄ってみてください。

折り紙や折り鶴、安全ピン等の寄付も受け付けています。
