SMFA donation table!

The report from SMFA Donation Table!

From March 28 to April 8, we had a table set up at SMFA atrium.

Our Berklee College of Music friends came and perform live music.

We end up getting $2002.10 of donation!

Thank you all for showing your support!

Update from BHCC and people from Berklee music college visit us!

Berklee Students Visited Us Today!!

And play music and sing for fund-raising.

A lot of people stand in the lounge where they play music and listen to the music and singing for while.

Unfortunately, I could not be there while time but their singing and music was awesome!

and also have a table for Origami Crane.

We are trying to make wish tree with cranes.

The First Fund-Raising Table at BHCC

Today, we had a first table for fund-raising in Bunker Hill Community College.

We are selling Bakes and Cranes, and this donation will go to directly Japanese Red Cross.

This table is continuing until April 20th, every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thurs

day!

this week we have breads from Japanese Bakery as donations. all breads are $2!! Next week we will have a band from Berklee College of Music.

I tried to count all the money which we got as donation, but since my school took it and put it in the safety box, so I do not know how much we got... However, it seemed like a lot of donation we got. I will keep informing you guys!!

BOP @ MASSART

Friday 4/1 was the last day of Massart holding the donation tables.

We were there for twelve days, and we end up with $3007.80 of donation!!!!

Thank you so much for your support!

Massart is not a big school, but so many people's caring heart made to this amount.

We will send the money to Red Cross after we do few more events at Massart! (keep updated!)

Thanks for who came by and donated, people who donated origami and cranes, Berklee performers, and who helped out our tables!

BOP Tshirts!!!!

We have made the T shirts!

This is our first design. We voted, edited the design, and decided to make (1)!

I came up with the design on Monday, and we printed out yesterday and they are ready to wear now. (Power of art-school!)

They are all hand printed.

And hand dried.

Blue!

Red!

And black!

The message of this T-shirt...

circle = Symbol of Japanese flag

heart = our caring heart

cross = red cross (donation)

crane = our symbol!

Isn't it pretty straight forward? :)

We printed 50 Tshirts, and we will sell them at SMFA tonight(3/30), and we are planning to sell them at Massart on Friday.
